Hello, I am Jeff Hawkins.  I am an Associate Principal at Ankeny High School.  My role at Ankeny High School is to function as an educational leader, working with students, teachers, and families to help prepare our students for a successful future.  I am designated to work with students and families whose last names begin with S through Z, but would welcome communication from anyone.  I am the administrator who works directly with our science and special education departments.

I am a graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs, Iowa.  I attended Wayne State College in Nebraska where I majored in secondary education with an emphasis in English.  I earned my post graduate degrees from Drake University.

Now is an exciting time in the Ankeny Community School district.  With the construction of the new high school, many changes are taking place.  Expanded opportunities in the classroom and in our activities are being developed. 

At AHS we take great pride in our academics and activities.  I encourage students to become involved in the many activities that are available at AHS.  Students will find that AHS has a wide variety of programming and excellent teachers who will help them reach their goals.
